Some companies may only send out an email once every few months, but this is ineffective because you aren't staying in people's minds. They may even forget who you are or what your company is all about. Meanwhile, some companies send out an email almost every day of the week. Even if people are interested in what you have to say, this can become very intrusive and annoying. Therefore you have to find a happy medium, such as a weekly newsletter, that allows you to stay in contact with your list without bombarding them.
